Automotive supplier adds recruitment capability within 2 weeks; fills critical openings in < 45 days

The Challenge:

The firm filed for bankruptcy as a result of the recession, was acquired by a private equity firm, restructured, began to grow and recently completed an IPO.  During this process deep cuts were made to the human resources capability across the organization.  The remaining infrastructure is unable to support the growth, specifically as it pertains to the acquisition of talent.  The client must re-establish their employer of choice reputation within the candidate marketplace, build talent succession into their recruitment process, and hire critical talent in order to meet customer demands and business plans. 

The Solution:

DreamJobs launched an OnDemand Contract Recruiter program designed to provide the client with a recruitment process and infrastructure which could meet the hiring demands of the business immediately.  The solution included the implementation of recruitment process best practices and the placement of staff members on-site within the client’s corporate headquarters, their largest manufacturing plant, and within the DreamJobs Center of Excellence in Toledo, Ohio.

The Results:

DreamJobs was able to have staff members in place and productive in less than 2 weeks.  Intake sessions were completed with hiring managers and sourcing plans were developed and executed resulting in multiple candidate presentations on all openings within 3 weeks.  Eight (8) critical hires were made within 45 days of launch, allowing the client to continue to satisfy customer needs and to execute on their business plan.
